Wellness Program: Yoga, Meditation and Workshops
This retreat is suitable for all levels of yoga experience from absolute beginners through to those with an established yoga practice are welcome.
The morning yoga classes will be more energising and uplifting, designed to put a spring in your step. The sunset yoga sessions will be restorative and gentle. We’ll explore guided relaxation and yoga breathing techniques called pranayama.
Together we’ll discover mindfulness meditation techniques; learning to tune in to your breath, to your body and to your surroundings. We’ll learn how a regular yoga and meditation practice can hold you steady in times of turmoil and how creative solutions appear naturally when you trust in the flow of life.
There will be transformational workshops and healing circles around the themes of Nurture, Nourish and Flourish and include topics such as:
Uncover what this buzz word 'self-love' is all about and identify strategies to help you develop your very own self-love practice.
Set goals with soul
Learn how to set goals with a difference and tune into how you want to feel on a daily basis.
Rewrite your story
Break through the negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that hold you back and step into your personal power, ready to live your best life.
You will learn a range of strategies and access resources to complement your wellbeing journey during the retreat. You will leave Bali more in tune with your body and mind, better equipped to manage the stressors of daily life and maintain optimal wellbeing long after the retreat is over.
Typical Daily Program:
7am: Energising morning yoga practice followed by meditation with Sharon Spencer
10am: Transformational workshop with life coach Simone Russell
12 - 5pm: Lunch, time to explore, relax, enjoy at your own pace
5pm: Restorative yoga practice with Lisa Allwell
6-7pm: Dinner, mocktails and sunset watching
8pm: A rotating evening program covering mindfulness, pranayama, special surprises and a special guest presenter.
All activities are optional. This is your retreat.
Retreat Accommodation and Room Rates:
There are a variety of rooms offering single share, twin or triple share across two adjoining traditional Balinese villas.
Single share - $2,600 AUD per person (5 single rooms available)
With views over the rice paddies, the swimming pool or the pond, there are a range of luxe single rooms available offering a King sized bed and your own bathroom.
Twin share - $2,200 AUD per person (7 twin rooms available)
There are a range of twin share options, offering either a King size bed and a single bed OR two single beds with an ensuite bathroom.
Triple share - $2,100 AUD per person (1 triple room available)
A luxurious triple share room in a stand-alone building overlooks the main swimming pool, and features one King size bed and two singles in an adjoining room. Containing an ensuite bathroom and a quiet reading and relaxation nook overlooking the rice paddies is on the doorstep, this room will be snapped up quickly!

Can I bring a friend or partner?
Absolutely! We hope that you will bring a friend, relative or partner. The retreat is open to guests with all levels of yoga experience. If you are intending to share a room with a friend, family member or partner, please indicate this in your enquiry or at the time of booking.
I’m coming by myself, what are my options?
A number of guests have travelled solo in the past. If you're intending to come alone and would like to share a room, we will happily arrange room share with a like-minded guest of the same gender. Don't be shy about sharing with a new friend, the Villa is spacious and you will have plenty of room for yourself. The Villa is filled with delightful hidden nooks, living areas and sun lounges where you can find ‘me time’ with a good book.

Do I have to attend all the activities?
No, this is YOUR retreat. It’s a time for you to relax and renew. You are free to do as little or as much as you like.
Who is leading this retreat?
The retreat will be hosted by yoga teachers Lisa Allwell and Sharon Spencer, co-founders of Seed Yoga + Wellness and life coach Simone Russell. Lisa and Simone facilitated sold out retreats in Bali in 2016 and 2017, and this retreat is back by popular demand! See more information below about us.
What are my passport requirements?
Your passport must have a minimum of six months validity to enter Indonesia, to at least April 2019.
What is the venue like?
The villa is newly built boutique accommodation, overlooking traditional Balinese rice paddies and is an ideal place to relax and unwind.
The villa has everything you could possibly wish for on a luxurious Bali holiday: huge and beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms, three sparkling pools, an open air yoga space overlooking the rice paddies, and an abundance of comfortable undercover and outdoor spaces to lounge and enjoy.
Will there be time to explore?
The retreat schedule allows for a balance of free time and structured activities. There is so much to do (or not do) in Bali. Included in the retreat package is a day trip to see the best of Bali.
After our morning yoga program, there will be plenty of time to discover Bali. You might want to visit local temples, stroll through the rice paddies, or try a spot of surfing, cycling or golf. The retreat is only 15 minutes from glitzy Seminyak, a fabulous shopping destination. We all need new yoga pants right?! Or maybe you’d like to simply relax by the pool with a great book.
What about the food?
We believe that healthy cuisine can and should be both delicious and nutritious. Your retreat menu has been specifically created to have a balance of wholesome and natural organic vegetarian food combinations for increasing your energy and vitality. The delicious meals are prepared in-house by chefs. All meals are included in your stay, with the exception of lunch on the day trip.

About Lisa Allwell
Lisa is a yoga and meditation teacher. Her classes focus on cultivating well-being and mindfulness. She has a passion for using principals of anatomical alignment to help you find a yoga practice that works perfectly for you. Lisa has developed a strong following of students who are drawn to her creative, nurturing teaching style.
You’ll participate in a light-hearted contemporary practice to balance mind, body and spirit. Life is often serious and perplexing, so Lisa’s aim is to encourage you forget about your ‘to do’ list, your issues and challenges for the duration of each yoga class.
The Balinese people are predominantly Hindu, and the yoga is often hidden in plain sight. You will see first-hand how their devotion, prayer and ceremony permeate all aspects of your stay. It is impossible not to be touched by the colourful daily rituals, offerings and ordinary magic. Your retreat leader, Lisa, has a strong understanding and love for Balinese culture and infuse the retreat teachings with cultural elements to help you to understand why so many people are drawn to profound and deep spiritual connection to this magical place.
Her favourite yoga asana is the smile, and she aims to encourage her students to strive for lightness, vitality and balance, both on and off the yoga mat. Lisa sincerely try to meet each student at where they are at in their yoga, helping them to get the most from each pose, each practice, each breath.

About Simone Russell
Simone is a life coach with a passion for empowering you to release the fears, old baggage, self-doubt and limiting beliefs that are holding you back so that you can experience more joy, inner peace and ease in your daily life. Typically working with women who are burnt out, stressed, overwhelmed, lost or lacking a sense of purpose, she helps them to reconnect with their intuition, find clarity, confidence and a greater sense of calm. Simone currently offers individualised coaching programs, transformational workshops and retreats. Simone has a unique gift in facilitating powerful women's circles and the knack of asking just the right question to initiate deep reflection and self-inquiry, helping you find the guru within.
Simone seamlessly blends her skills as a coach with her background in occupational therapy. With well over a decade of experience in the field of neurology, stroke prevention and recovery, Simone is fascinated with the human body. In particular the mind, and how we can utilise the process of neuroplasticity to maximise our potential and live happier, healthier lives. Through transforming her own life by embedding the practices of self-love, mindfulness and mindset strategies into her day, she will guide you to find the unique blend of life skills to do the same.
It is Simone’s heartfelt intention that you leave feeling more connected with yourself, calmer, rejuvenated and empowered to live your best life.
About Sharon Spencer
Sharon is a yoga, somatic movement and meditation teacher. Sharon turned to yoga to help her find sanity in the chaos of a young family (which included a travelling husband and three kids under two!) She desperately needed something to get her body moving and find her way through the brain fog. Yoga was also a natural progression from her dancing background, where she taught children, teens and adults for nearly 20 years. Yoga has also enabled Sharon to indulge her interest in mindful movement as therapy to help us live the best life we can.
Sharon aims to create a space in her classes that help you remember how you want to live your life. She will guide you out of your head and back into your body using healthy movement, attention to breath, and present moment awareness.
Yoga has changed Sharon’s life inside and out and she cannot wait to share her wisdom, experience and passion with you. Not only is her body moving the best it ever has, she has cultivated a clearer sense of who she is, what is important to her in this life, and has cultivated a deeper trust in her capacity to deal with life’s complexities.
