Let us guide you on a transformative journey into the heart of ancient wisdom . This training is designed for yoga teachers seeking to deepen their offerings, dedicated yogis ready to go further into the teachings and anyone called to explore the profound intersection of meditation, breathwork and philosophy.
We created this course because you asked us for a training that offered a nuanced exploration of yoga's subtle dimensions. We are honoured to be trusted with bringing these teachings forward in an accessible, joyful and inspiring way.
We'll take you on an inward exploration that goes beyond technique into our deepest longing to be free from what binds us. You will dive into the teachings of yoga philosophy, advanced breathing practices, Himalayan kriya, nervous system regulation and the art of making these teachings relatable for modern life. This will be interwoven throughout the course in a way that honours both traditional lineage and contemporary needs.
If you are teaching yoga or meditation already, you'll be able to theme classes and courses with confidence and clarity. You will learn techniques underpinned by a profound philosophical framework that will allow you to navigate the life’s complexities with greater presence, compassion and wisdom.
This course is for anyone seeking meaning and resilience amidst life's challenges. Learn tools to meet life with patience and presence. Expect to cultivate time-tested practices that have a western evidence base …so we know they work!
This training will be delivered over 6 nights/7days on the beautiful island of Bali.

Here’s what students from previous trainings had to say:
“ I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the beautiful Yoga Teacher Training I experienced with you and the group in Bali. It was truly transformative, and I am deeply grateful for the guidance and wisdom you both shared with us.” Rebecca Kunz, Yoga Teacher
“The Evolve Yin Training was a transformative journey for me opening up a greater understanding of yin yoga, yoga philosophy, anatomy, meridians, meditation, somatic movement, and associated theory and practices. As a mental health practitioner who loves yoga, I was particularly drawn to this course to learn advanced breath and meditation practices to support my clients. The course exceeded my expectations as Lisa A and Lisa M brought an exceptional standard of teaching stemming from their wealth of experience and very nurturing approach. They have fostered the perfect environment for connection and community with amazing fellow students. Not only have I had an incredible time of personal growth and professional development, but I have also returned from this experience with a nourished soul and friendships made! The venue was also magical with teachings and yoga practice set amongst the smell, sight, and sounds of a rainforest.” Eleanor Lam, psychologist
“A brilliant and delightful experience, thank you so much.” Dr Tatiana Cantachin, psychiatrist
“Both Lisas are the reason why I signed up for this training as i have always felt lacking in the Yin space. I have been attending yoga classes at Seed and always walked out feeling so refreshed and happy. Their ability to create the inclusive and safe environment in their classes gives me lots of inspiration to keep learning. This training was so valuable, adding so much knowledge base and understanding of Yin and given me a great deal of confidence about teaching Yin rather than just Vinyasa and Hatha.” Priscillia Low, Yoga + Pilates Teacher
“In this training, I was able to experience high quality Yin classes lead by Lisa A and Lisa M , learning the teaching concepts that underpin great Yin classes. Being abroad, away from normal life, allowed me to fully dive into the training. In the breaks between lectures, I had time to contemplate the subtle body elements we were learning, which really helped the concepts land. I left with the knowledge to both teach Yin to my community, and enhance my Yang classes” Julia Gray, Yoga Teacher + Studio Owner
“The Lisa’s worked seamlessly as a team. They really held the space well and opened from their hearts consistently. The course was an harmonious melding of their well grounded intellectual and experimental knowledge. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to have learnt from them.“ Rebecca McMenamin, Yoga Teacher
“ I LOVED LOVED LOVED the training course and being able to share the experience with such a wonderful group of people. We have come away from the training course feeling very inspired, refreshed, calm, and feeling better able to face our forthcoming challenges in life. We also hope to be able to apply what we have learned from you in supporting our loved ones and others in need. Both yoga teachers Lisa M and Lisa A were well experienced and their knowledge about Yin yoga was enormous. Thank you so much for sharing your yoga journey!” Yasu Yashoda, Chef and dedocated yogi

While online trainings certainly have their place, this training is unapologetically face-to-face because we want to share these teachings in the way that yoga has always been taught, with direct transmission and experiential learning from teacher to student. If you want to explore more of Bali, we suggest arriving early or staying on after the training is complete. If your time is limited, you certainly can fly in directly for the training but if you do have time we recommend coming in a couple of days beforehand to relax and explore. Ubud is an interesting, safe and culturally rich part of Bali.

We are senior teachers, collaborators and dear friends. We facilitate retreats, teacher trainings, workshops and mentoring programs. Our students are drawn to our creative and inspiring teaching styles.
We created this training because over the years and after countless requests , our students - who are often yoga teachers - asked us to do so. We offer this training in deep service and humility in the hope that it inspires the next wave of well educated, heartfelt and transformative yin yoga teachers.
We bring a wealth of experience and a nurturing approach to this training. We walk our talk. We also believe that the best transmission of knowledge happens face-to-face, and while we acknowledge that online learning has a place, it’s the incidental conversations, real world connections and the opportunity to observe and practice up close that creates potent learning.
Lisa Allwell
Lisa is a health professional who unexpectedly fell in love with yoga. She held senior public health roles in mental health, cancer, stroke and chronic illness, but traded up a focus on evidence, research and evaluation to teach yoga. Now, she encourages her students to run the yoga experiment in their own body and mind, with a sample size of one, and richly reap the rewards of their own personal research program.
Lisa established Seed Yoga + Wellness, a flourishing yoga community in Blackburn in 2017.. Far too many of her students to count, have gone on to study and teach yoga. This led to her mentoring emerging yoga teachers one-on-one, giving them the confidence to teach and to establish their own yoga related businesses.
Lisa has completed over 1000 hours of yoga training in a variety of yoga traditions and lineages. She considers herself to be a lifelong student of yoga who continues to participate in trainings; there’s so much to be curious about in this incredible tradition of yoga!
Lisa is a former Board member of Yoga Australia (the national peak body for yoga) and has twice been nominated the Australian Ambassador to the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh, India. She is a former Board member of Health Issues Centre at La Trobe University. She is a Level 3 Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Australia. She holds graduate and post degrees, in health science, public health, arts and education.
Lisa also knows a bit about Bali: She has led 12 previous Bali Retreats and Trainings. When you join her in Bali, she’ll tell you about how in Bali the yoga is often hidden in plain sight. You will see first-hand how devotion, prayer and ceremony permeate all aspects of your stay. It is impossible not to be touched by the colourful daily rituals, offerings and ordinary magic. Lisa will infuse the retreat teachings with cultural elements to help you to understand why so many people are drawn to profound and deep spiritual connection to this magical place. (She studied with a Balinese Healer, Tjokorda Rai in 2012).
