The details

Wellness Program: Yoga, Meditation and Workshops

This retreat is suitable for all levels of yoga experience including beginners and those who might want to do meditation only/

There will be energising and uplifting morning yoga (not too early…you are on holidays!), designed to enliven you. The sunset yoga sessions will be restorative and gentle.

We’ll explore what it means to be truly well - body, mind and soul. This is an individual journey, but we’ll collectively look at what yoga, ayurveda, psychology and other integrative practices can teach us about creating a life that is vibrant and graceful. It’s finding your own steady ground. This retreat is lighthearted…expect to have fun.

As we watch the waves on the beach, we’ll watch the waves of our own breath, the ebb and flow of thought and of sensation; we’ll remember to gently trust in the flow of life.

You will leave Shoreham better equipped to manage the stressors of daily life.

Her favourite yoga pose is the smile, and she aims to encourage her students to strive for lightness, vitality and balance, both on and off the yoga mat. Lisa sincerely try to meet each student at where they are at in their yoga, helping them to get the most from each pose, each practice, each breath. It’s Lisa’s clear intention that you leave this retreat feeling energised, peaceful and fabulous.

Sue Fowles

Sue is an experienced mental health practitioner, NDIS recovery coach & support coordinator. After an excess of 25 years working in Community Mental Health, Sue transitioned to working within the NDIS scheme.

Sue recognised that when COVID hit our shores there were many people struggling mentally. We all know that it has been a life changer and Sue supported many participants through the initial onset but also recognised that there needed to be more connection and self-nurturing for people. She decided to open up a service for NDIS participants that needed to be able to renourish themselves, ‘get away’ from the confines of their home/accommodation and be nurtured, amongst other things. As a result, Camp Recovery Respite was founded and provides all the things that a person would like to experience. Teaming up with like minded service providers such as art therapista, yoga therapists, occupational and speech therapists to name a few, participants are able to experience a very holistic recovery journey.
