Elemental Harmony: An Immersive Yin Yoga Journey with Katherine Donato

Join Katherine Donato for a two-hour immersive yin yoga practice. You will connect with the natural elements and harness their healing powers to support your overall wellbeing, flow, and soul invigoration. Through a series of passive yin poses, you will explore and honour the earth, water, fire, air, and ether.

In this workshop, you will be introduced to the concept of elemental healing and how it can support your physical, emotional, and spiritual health. You will learn how each element is associated with specific qualities, such as grounding, fluidity, transformation, expansion, and connection, and how these qualities can be cultivated through the practice of yin yoga.

You will begin with a short introduction and warm-up, followed by a series of yin poses that are designed to target different areas of the body and stimulate specific energy channels associated with each element. Katherine will guide you through each pose and offer variations and modifications to suit different levels of experience and flexibility.

In addition to yin poses, you will also practice traditional yogic techniques, including kriya (cleansing practices), pranayama (breathing exercises), mantra (sound vibration), and meditation. These practices will help you deepen your connection with each element and cultivate a sense of inner harmony and balance.

Throughout the workshop, you will be encouraged to listen to your body and honour your own needs and boundaries. Katherine will create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your practice and connect with the elements in your own way.
