Run/Ride/Swim: Yoga for Post Sport Recovery with Danny McGrane

Celebrate Men’s Health Month by trying something new - yoga! Designed to complement your lifestyle and support physical and mental resilience, yoga is an incredible tool for men looking to improve strength, flexibility, and mental focus. This practice offers targeted benefits like enhancing mobility, preventing injuries, and reducing stress—whether you're hitting the gym, playing sports, or simply aiming to stay active. Yoga is more than just stretching; it's about creating a strong, balanced body and mind. This month, take the leap, show up for yourself, and experience how yoga can be a powerful addition to your wellness routine.

In this class we keep it simple, effective and targeted to problem areas for men i.e., improving mobility in the shoulders, hips and hamstrings. Yoga is not only transformational for our physical bodies, but also has a functional role in human biomechanics, helps prevent injury, increase range of motion, reduce stress as well as improve concentration and be an incredible tonic for our emotional wellbeing too.

When: Saturday 16 November from 11am - 12noon. (in studio at Seed Yoga, 1A Salisbury Avenue, Blackburn.)

BOOK YOUR FREE SPOT On Our timetable Page here: Go to the event on 16 October and you’ll be able to register.

Your guide is Danny McGrane, new dad, yogi, musician and exercise junkie. Danny says: ‘I want to explore the body with every scientific update human kind comes up with! I stay as open with new learning to Asana practice and beyond as I can, Yoga in all its levels is an ever changing practice and I don’t like to get stuck on passes laurels when there is more to learn around the corner. In saying that I would never deny the traditional practice, in fact the Buddhist practice of mindfulness meditation and even that of Vipassana has been a life altering practice for me as well as the ever expanding knowledge of the mindfulness techniques taught by thich nhat Hanh.

I aim too bring Yoga to those who have been stigmatised to the practice. Coming from a construction management background and predominantly working with men I hope to continue to work with these guys introducing them to the practice that saved me; physically, mentally and spiritually.’
