Have you ever felt the stirrings of creativity within you—waiting, just beneath the surface—but unsure how to bring them to life? Or longed for a way to reconnect with yourself through movement, breath, and artistic expression?
This workshop is your invitation to pause, breathe, and return to your inner world. Through the powerful combination of Qigong and Intuitive Art Journaling, we’ll journey together into a space where energy flows freely and creativity rises naturally.
This afternoon workshop invites you to awaken your inner artist and reconnect with your vital energy through a harmonious blend of Qigong and Art Journaling. Imagine yourself immersed in the meditative flow of Qigong, followed by an artful journey that brings together reflection, creativity, and mindful expression.
What You’ll Experience:
Begin with a gentle Qigong practice to clear energy blockages, calm the mind, and allow the natural flow of Qi (life force) to move freely within. Through slow, purposeful movements, you’ll bring yourself to a relaxed, clear state that’s perfect for creative exploration.
Drawing on the energy released through Qigong, you’ll tap into your innate creativity and explore ways to express your thoughts and emotions in an artful way. You’ll tap into your intuition, exploring your unique perspective and bringing your intentions to life on the page.
The workshop will wind down with a bit more Qigong and some Yin Yoga. These soothing practices will help ground the experiences of the session, giving you a sense of balance, restoration, and peace.
What You’ll Take Home:
An art journal and some techniques for journaling that can be used in an ongoing creative or reflective practice.
A deeper understanding of how mindfulness and energy practices can enhance your creativity and self-expression.
Who is This For?: This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in combining movement with creativity. No experience in Qigong or art is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to explore!

Vickie Liew: Yoga became a part of my life in 2016 when I joined a local studio. I felt its transformative effect on me, in all aspects as I became a regular practitioner. During the pandemic lockdowns, I started and completed my first yoga teacher training course, more for self-knowledge and personal growth. However it eventually led me down the path to teaching, especially after more training and courses followed the first one, as I became more confident in myself. I began teaching online in 2021 in and amongst the frequent lockdowns and finally started teaching in person in December 2021.
I love Vinyasa for the dance-like quality of the practice where you flow from one pose to another in sync with your breath. And I love Yin Yoga for its self-healing and meditative qualities.
I love every aspect of yoga, and now that I teach it, I feel purposeful and fulfilled, that I have something to offer the world that is truly transformative and beneficial to everyone.
Kerrie Jacobs: Kerrie is a Melbourne based artist. Her business, Meraki Art specialises in Resin, Inks, Acrylics and Mixed Media. Kerrie loves the unpredictable nature of Resin and Inks, the colour, texture and chaos it creates! On the other hand Kerrie loves the structure and predictability of Acrylics! Kerrie is a keen yogi and she practices at Seed Yoga several times each week. She has collaborated on several Seed retreats and loves to run art workshops, conveying the message that EVERYONE is creative.
