Season of Surrender - Yin Yoga for Autumn with Taryn Ipenburg

Season of Surrender - Yin Yoga for Autumn with Taryn Ipenburg

As we shift gears and settle into the pace of Autumn, the trees around us shed their leaves and we too are asked to let go and shift the attention from outwards to inward. Yogic and Ayuvedic teachings tell us that Autumn is when our spiritual senses are heightened and for this reason we often feel called to slow down and listen carefully to the intuitive whispers from within.

In this 2.5 hour workshop, together with Taryn you will explore the spiritual aspects of Autumn along with Yin postures to help nourish our Lung + Large Intestine energy. This energy is all about receiving what we need and letting go of what we don't. The Lung is responsible for a healthy immune system, which is important as we move towards Winter.

You will lean into yin rituals that are deeply introspective and potentially transformational for your body and the essence of your heart. Expect an inward journey that will leave you feeling nurtured and calm.

During this workshop you will:

  • Learn how to nourish your Yin energy though autumn with meditation and introspective practices.

  • Experience a Restorative Yin practice for self healing.

  • Experience a guided meditation to cultivate calm and to reset a frazzled nervous system.

There’s something special about gifting yourself an extended period to explore yin: You’ll have an opportunity to delve deeper into both the poses and your own mind, fostering increased tension release and a deeper sense of relaxation and renewal.

Expect to leave feeling amazing!
