With the news that Melbourne's Lockdown will continue for another week, join us for a 7 DAY RESET: 7 Days, 7 Teachers, 7 Practices at, you guessed it, 7am! In these power packed 20-30 minute sessions, we're going to show you how to detox the body, detox the mind and try some new, interesting and fun things!
These sessions are kid-friendly, main squeeze-friendly and downward facing dog friendly. You can get the whole family involved. For those of us who are home alone, it's the perfect way to connect with your yoga tribe. We’ll Zip, Zest, Zing, Zeal, Zen and Suess our way through the next week of lockdown. (This will make sense when you read the session descriptions.)

Here's the program:
Day 1 - Saturday 14 August. Join Lisa Allwell as we set the scene for our 7 Day reset. Today's topic is Zip! Ayurvedic Body Practices for Self-Care. Learn tips and tricks to boost your immunity and connect you to the space of the heart. These self-care practices will make you feel good and full of sparkly energy...like diving into the ocean.
Day 2 - Sunday 15 August. Join Taryn Ipenburg for Zest! Ayurvedic Cleanse. The cleanse Taryn will share can be practiced for one day or the whole week. Learn about how a short cleanse works to reset your system. You'll experience lightness in your physical body and a lightness of spirit. Expect better sleep, mental clarity, courage and focus.
Day 3 - Monday 16 August: Join Isabelle Beauvard for Zing! A Pilates Inspired Strength Class. Paired with the party anthems of the 90s, this full-body session will take you through dynamic exercises to support strength and focus. Options will be provided throughout the session to either pair things back or add on layers. Sweat it out, have fun and finish feeling refreshed! We'll share a 90's Playlist, with a little bit of Spice Girls to add to the happy vibe.
Day 4 - Tuesday 17 August: Join Katherine Donato for a Zeal! Kriya for Vitality Class. Pour yourself a cup of Yogic Coffee …. Join Kath for an energizing kriya practice designed to ignite your lifeforce and strengthen your 8th Chakra- the Aura (yep there are more than 7!) so that you can skip through your day with vibrancy, clarity and a heart full of love.
Day 5 - Wednesday 18 August: Join Jill Devine for Suess! A reading of the classic, Oh the Places you'll Go. This book is surprisingly relevant in oh so many contexts. Bring your kids, a cup of tea and a cosy blanket. You will switching on the listening body, a key part of the yoga practice: whether you're listening to the story, your breath or maintaining presence with emotions, sensations that arise within the experience, however simple that may be. This session will surprise you and delight you.
Day 6 - Thursday 19 August: Join Hannah Balint for Zany! Do something that scares you! A fast a fun way to learn crow pose. Bring the attitude that ‘I will fall and that ok because I will have soft cushions to fall on, oh and no-one else can see me!” Make sure you have enough space to crow at home with no sharp, hard objects near you and some pillows or blankets nearby for potential landing mats. Kids will love this one and so will the blokes! We'll share a fabulous playlist for this class, which may or may not have songs from Counting Crows.
Day 7 -Friday 20 August: Join Vanessa Hollo for Zen! Morning Pranayama. Pranayama means to 'enhance life force'. explore this yogic practice to work with the breath to enhance vitality and concentration. Experience a short potent session to clear away the cobwebs and brighten your mind. Expect to enhance your mood, motivation and awareness.
