Have you ever said yes when your body meant no?
Do you long to honour your boundaries without guilt, conflict, or collapse?
Our bodies are constantly speaking to us - through gut feelings, subtle contractions, tingles, sighs, and longings. In this gentle, yet transformative workshop, we’ll explore how somatic awareness can help us reconnect to our internal signals, so we can begin to live and speak our truth with greater clarity and compassion.
Boundaries and consent aren’t just about saying “no.” They’re about knowing what we truly want, trusting ourselves to respond honestly, and creating the space to be fully present in the relationships and situations that matter most.
In this workshop, you’ll be guided through a series of embodied practices, reflections, and facilitated discussions to help you:
Reconnect with your body’s cues - Learn to recognise subtle somatic signals of yes, no, maybe, and not yet.
Discover your authentic boundaries - Where do you end and another begins? What are your energetic, emotional and physical limits?
Practice clear, calm communication - Explore ways of expressing your needs, while staying rooted in self-awareness.
Learn the power of pause - Use stillness as a tool for clarity, especially in moments of doubt or discomfort.
Be witnessed in your truth - Engage in practices designed to support safety, mutual respect and choice.
This workshop is for anyone who:
Often says “yes” out of habit, obligation or fear of disappointing others
Struggles to maintain boundaries without guilt or collapse
Feels disconnected from their body’s intuition and wants to reconnect
Is on a journey of healing, self-expression, or embodied empowerment
Works in caregiving, healing, teaching or community roles and wants better boundary hygiene
Simply wants to deepen their relationship with choice, self-trust and inner clarity
No experience in somatics, yoga or embodiment is necessary - just a willingness to listen inward, move mindfully, and be curious.

Rachel says: A yoga & meditation practice has always been something that has drifted in and out of my life when I needed it most. However, after spending 10 months travelling in France I reconnected with yoga again and I knew in my heart of hearts that this was something I wanted to dive into and explore completely. Movement has always been extremely important to me, having always done some form of sport or another throughout my life. The practice of yoga took things to the next level through the integration of mind, body, diet, breath and spirituality. I am particularly passionate about how the breath influences our entire being - our energy, hormones & mental state. I love the community that yoga creates; while it is an individual path for each person, it is also the thread that connects us all together.
Each time I practice I learn more about myself and it is a great joy to share that with others. I hope to bring my bubbly personality into each class, to challenge students to push themselves either mentally or physically - but also to encourage them to rest, restore & relax fully. I like to support people to move more intuitively or in a way that suits their body. I think now, in what is often a fast paced world, we need that Yin & Yang balance in our lives.
Why I love this work…
Your body already knows - we are just learning to listen.
We can often operate from a place of habit or from society's expectations of us - somatics & embodiment ‘pulls back the veil’ on those layers so we can reconnect with our truth.
When we align with our truth and become more congruent with our needs, we spend less energy ‘going through the motions’. We often find we actually have more capacity for everything else.
We discover more vibrancy & joy when we allow our needs and desires to be met & honoured.
It’s empowering to speak your truth and know your truth.
It’s empowering to live from this place and know yourself better.
Whether you’re a parent, a partner, a friend or a caregiver - we can all relate to putting other peoples needs above our own. By being curious and actually asking what we need/want, we can start to direct our whole life authentically. This creates the capacity to truly live this one precious life.
We learn to find more compassion for ourselves - because we truly matter.
