SURYA NAMASKARA – 12 Salutations 12 mantras
To the ancient texts of Rig Veda, the Sun God or Surya was a symbol of health and immortal life.
Surya Namaskara or sun salutation is a graceful ancient technique (dating back over 2,500 years), that consists of a set of yoga poses as a way of paying respect to the sun. It is the sun that symbolizes spiritual consciousness and represents the pranic channel which carries vital energy, the life-giving force.
