Are you feeling stagnant, restless or “not quite with it”?
Would you like to feel more balanced or find some deep release and rest?
2020 has brought its fair share of challenges and many of us are carrying that tension or anxiety in our bodies. Join Vanessa Hollo on a journey through embodied movement, myofascial release and yin yoga.
In this 2 hour workshop, you will explore embodied movement for self expression and stress release, then melt slowly into a yin and myofascial release practice that will wake up and transform your inner worlds.
Combining yin with myofascial release can directly target places of accumulated stress and tissue tension, (sometimes called trigger points). In this slow and contemplative immersion we will use gentle movement to generate connection with our physical and subtle bodies, then slow it down some more using soft balls to target trigger points and longer held yin shapes. This can have a profound effect of our sense of wellbeing and help restore feelings of ease , release and self connection.
In this Immersion you will:
Learn more about the energetic and contemplative practices of yoga whilst exploring slow, gentle yin shapes
Explore the use of a variety of soft balls on and over various areas of the body in order to create greater freedom in your movement, breath and wellbeing.
Leave feeling rejuvenated, spacious and alive to the awareness within.
De-clutter your mind with deep relaxation to create space for new beginnings.
You will need 2 tennis balls, a spare sock and a yoga block/thick book. We’ll send you a little video prior to the session with how to set yourself up to get the most from this workshop.
If you are pregnant, please seek your doctors permission before attending.
