The Art of Rest: A Restorative Yoga Event with Emma Hamilton

Restorative Yoga + Australian Bush Flower Essences: A Special Event with Emma Hamilton

Imagine a soft place to lie, completely cushioned and supported, as you're gently guided into a cascade of calm.

This nourishing afternoon with Emma Hamilton is an invitation to slow down, soften and remember what true rest feels like. Through the gentle practice of Restorative Yoga, you'll be supported through the natural stages of relaxation, allowing your body and nervous system to rediscover their innate capacity to rest, repair and restore.

Together we'll spend an afternoon nestled in deeply supported restorative postures, letting go of overstimulation, the pressure to keep going and the constant pull to do more. This is an opportunity to step away from planning, striving, self-criticism and the endless mental chatter, creating space for stillness, healing and renewal.

In a world that asks so much of our bodies and minds, many of us find ourselves tired yet unable to truly switch off. Our nervous systems become overloaded, our hormones and digestion are affected, and we lose touch with the natural rhythms that help us thrive.

Drawing on the wisdom of nature, Emma will incorporate Australian Bush Flower Essences, including a meditation essence, to gently support emotional balance, relaxation and inner calm. Used for decades as a complementary healing modality, these beautiful plant essences offer subtle support for the emotional, energetic and spiritual body, beautifully complementing the restorative practice.

The afternoon concludes with a warming cup of chai and time to simply be before returning to your day feeling lighter, calmer and deeply replenished.

During this workshop you'll experience:

• A deeply nourishing Restorative Yoga practice suitable for all levels

• Long, fully supported poses designed to calm the nervous system

• Gentle guidance into profound relaxation and restoration

• Australian Bush Flower Essences to support emotional wellbeing and inner balance

• Space to release stress, overwhelm and mental fatigue

• An opportunity to reconnect with your body's natural rhythms of rest and healing

• A beautiful guided relaxation experience

• Homemade chai and connection with the Seed community

If your body has been asking for a pause, this afternoon is your invitation to listen.

About Emma Hamilton

Emma has been practising yoga for more than 30 years and brings a deeply nurturing, compassionate approach to her teaching. Her own journey back to yoga during a period of chronic stress and anxiety inspired a passion for practices that gently regulate the nervous system and create space for healing, rest and self-compassion.

Emma believes yoga is for everybody and loves weaving together restorative yoga, breath awareness, mindfulness and the wisdom of nature to help students reconnect with themselves. Her classes offer a gentle invitation to slow down, soften and discover the profound benefits of intentional rest.

Last winter, Emma shared a series of Saturday afternoon Restorative Yoga classes at Seed that were incredibly well received. Students absolutely loved the opportunity to pause, unwind and deeply restore, and many have been asking for restorative yoga to return this winter.

Your wish is our command!

Emma is delighted to be back, sharing this beautiful afternoon of Restorative Yoga, Australian Bush Flower Essences and deep relaxation, creating a space where you can simply let go, replenish your energy and leave feeling calm, nourished and renewed.
