Get ready to meet your breath like never before.

Every moment of every day we are breathing, yet most of us have never been taught how to breathe in a way that truly supports our health, energy and wellbeing.

In yoga, the breath is known as prana or life force. It is the bridge between body and mind, influencing everything from our nervous system and emotional state to our energy, focus and sleep. By learning to work consciously with the breath, we gain access to one of the most powerful tools we have for creating calm, resilience and vitality.

Join us for this progressive four week course as we explore the ancient practice of pranayama and discover practical breathing techniques that you can take off the mat and into everyday life.

Over four weeks you'll experience:

• A gentle, progressive introduction to the foundations of breathwork

• Traditional pranayama practices to calm the nervous system and quiet a busy mind

• Energising techniques including Kapalabhati and Breath of Fire

• Breath retention (Kumbhaka) and an introduction to the Bandhas

• A guided connected breathwork journey for release, clarity and renewal

• Simple practices to support better sleep, reduce stress and improve focus

• The confidence to establish your own sustainable daily breath practice

This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced yoga students wanting to deepen their understanding. Each week builds on the last, allowing you to develop your practice in a safe, supportive and accessible way.

Breathwork has experienced an extraordinary resurgence in recent years, and for good reason. Scientific research continues to demonstrate what yogis have understood for thousands of years: conscious breathing has a profound effect on both body and mind. Regular breathwork has been shown to help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, increase energy, sharpen mental focus and enhance performance and recovery. Meet Your Teacher

Ryan believes that the yoga mat is a place where we reconnect with ourselves. Through movement, breath and mindful awareness, he creates a space where students can slow down, become present and discover what their own practice has to offer. His teaching is inclusive and grounded in the understanding that yoga is never a one size fits all practice.

Earlier this year, Ryan travelled to the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, where he immersed himself in an advanced training dedicated to the ancient practices of pranayama and breathwork. Studying in the birthplace of yoga deepened not only his understanding of these powerful techniques but also his personal experience of their transformative effects.

Ryan knows firsthand that the breath is far more than air moving in and out of the lungs. It is a powerful tool for calming the nervous system, building energy, improving focus and creating a profound sense of connection between body and mind. His teaching blends traditional yogic wisdom with practical techniques that can be woven into modern daily life.
