Energy, Balance & Being: A Special Event with Taryn Ipenburg

We’ve become very good at looking outside ourselves when we’re feeling depleted. We book the appointment, order the supplements, search for the next wellness remedy, or turn to someone else for advice about what we need. But what if we paused for a moment and listened to what the body already knows?

Our bodies have an extraordinary capacity to restore balance, and we each carry an innate wisdom that can support us physically, mentally and emotionally. Sometimes, we simply need the time, space and right tools to reconnect with it.

Join Taryn for a deeply nourishing afternoon designed to help you slow down, turn your attention inward and rediscover some of the simple practices that can support your own wellbeing.

Drawing on almost 20 years of yoga practice, Taryn’s experience as a massage therapist and Reiki Master, and her study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, she’ll share a beautiful collection of practical techniques that you can take with you long after the workshop ends.

During the afternoon, you’ll be invited to experience:

  • An exploration of your body’s energetic pathways, with simple practices to encourage energy to flow freely and support a sense of balance.

  • Self-massage, Reiki and acupressure techniques to release tension, awaken the senses and reconnect you with your body.

  • Nourishing Ayurvedic self-care rituals that bring a little more balance, intention and wellbeing into your everyday life.

  • A grounding meditation to settle the nervous system, quieten the mind and create a greater sense of calm and ease.

  • A deeply restorative Yin practice, with gentle massage and hands-on adjustments from Taryn to help you soften, release and settle more deeply into your practice.

This is an afternoon to pause, replenish and reconnect with yourself, while exploring simple practices that can support you long after you leave the studio.

Come as you are. Leave feeling nourished, grounded and a little more connected to the wisdom that has been within you all along.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is the ancient sister science to yoga, offering a deeply holistic and intuitive path to living in harmony with nature’s cycles. It recognises that our inner landscape is constantly shaped by season, environment, and lifestyle, and provides gentle, personalised practices in food, ritual, movement, and contemplation to support balance and wellbeing across body, mind, and spirit.

About Taryn:

Taryn is a skilled and intuitive yoga teacher whose work blends practical wisdom with deep spiritual grounding. Alongside her years of teaching experience, she is also a trained massage therapist and Reiki Master, and has devoted many years to the study of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This rich background allows her to guide students through practices that not only support the body, but also honour the emotional, energetic, and seasonal layers of wellbeing.

Taryn describes her approach as one rooted in connection, compassion, and embodied awareness. “I will share with you what I have learned about the connection, about the compassion, about the awareness that yoga can bring every day,” she says. Her teaching invites a joyful, fluid, and curious relationship with practice, helping students tune in, move with presence, and create space within. You can expect to leave this workshop feeling grounded, calm, and beautifully nourished.
