New Moon Circle with Rachel Rosenberg

  • 1A Salisbury Avenue Blackburn, Vic, 3130 Australia (map)

Are you seeking the opportunity to ground yourself with intention? Do you find you have something on your heart to share, but missing the community to share it with? Are you ready for some fun & vulnerability in equal measure?

If your heart answered with a big ‘yes’, our next moon circle is for you. Rachel will guide you through a fulfilling and immersive evening of meditation, ritual, visualisation and meditative movement.

The new moon represents a time for introspection: an opportunity to release the old and make space to invite in something new. The intention of this circle is not to create another list of 'shoulds' or 'to do's', but to allow yourself time for open curiosity and discussion with likeminded people; to tap into your heart's wisdom. Our circle offers empowering connection and community. A refuge of trust and love. There is something so potent and healing when you gather women together and allow them to speak the truth in their hearts. Often we can be caught in the ‘small talk’ of the day to day, when we so very deeply need to share what’s on our minds. Together, we learn that we all have an invisible thread that weaves through us. Come as you are, all those who identify as women are welcome.

Meeting around the new moon, we have the opportunity to create and dream up intentions for ourselves (or connect again with old ones) - planting our seeds, adding sunlight (energy) and water (love & attention) & time (patience) we start to see our goals, wishes and aspirations grow over time.

In this sacred circle, you will:

  • Be welcomed into the space (with an optional sage cleansing, infused with reiki).

  • Be introduced to the theme/intention of the evening, with an opportunity to introduce yourself to the others in the circle.

  • Participate in a guided meditation - intended to ground and connect you.

  • Move through a nourishing & gentle somatic movement practice (available for every-body. No yoga experience necessary.)

  • Have an opportunity to share into the circle; around the theme, or anything else you feel called to bring into the space.

  • Enjoy warm tea & treats.

  • Leave connected, grounded, inspired.

About Rachel

A yoga & meditation practice has always been something that has drifted in and out of my life when I needed it most. However, after spending 10 months travelling in France I reconnected with yoga again and I knew in my heart of hearts that this was something I wanted to dive into and explore completely. Movement has always been extremely important to me, having always done some form of sport or another throughout my life. The practice of yoga took things to the next level through the integration of mind, body, diet, breath and spirituality. I am particularly passionate about how the breath influences our entire being - our energy, hormones & mental state.

I love the community that yoga creates; while it is an individual path for each person, it is also the thread that connects us all together.

Each time I practice I learn more about myself and it is a great joy to share that with others. I hope to bring my bubbly personality into each class, to challenge students to push themselves either mentally or physically - but also to encourage them to rest, restore & relax fully. I like to support people to move more intuitively or in a way that suits their body. I think now, in what is often a fast paced world, we need that Yin & Yang balance in our lives.
