New Year's Evolution

  • 1A Salisbury Avenue Blackburn, Vic, 3130 Australia (map)

For most people, lasting positive change doesn’t start with an external declaration when the clock ticks over on January 1st, it starts with an internal evolution and setting clear intention for change. It’s time to say goodbye to New Year’s Resolutions and hello to a New Year’s Evolution. Join Hannah for an afternoon of intention setting, movement and meditation therapy for the mind, body and soul.

Hannah will guide you through practice with a concentration on the energy of summer. Just as nature cycles through sleep, renewal and expansion - so does the energy within us.

In this 2.5 hour workshop you will:

  • Gain clarity on how you want to show up in the world

  • Set heartfelt intentions and soul inspired goals that align with your core values through mindfulness based task and journaling

  • Discover how to hold a clear vision of your future whilst staying firmly grounded and content in the present

  • Move emotion through the lotion of motion with a nature aligned Vin to Yin practice

In traditional Chinese medicine, fire is the energy of summer and the fire element represents the heart and small intestine meridians (energy channels). When we release the flow of chi (energy) that is stuck in these two meridians we gain, a more peaceful and happy nature and can more easily move into a state of flow.

You will move through a targeted summer Vin to Yin practice, new year intention setting, guided mediation and musical savasana to close where you will be left feeling like your mind has been cleared, you have more oxygen in your veins and your whole being has been nurtured.

This workshop is for anyone and everyone who is in need for some self care and wants to work with the natural waves of nature.

When: Saturday 15 January 2022 from 2-4.30pm

Investment $55

Location: In studio, Seed Yoga, 1A Salisbury Ave, Blackburn

About Hannah Balint

Hannah is a true believer in working towards a balanced life and her goal is to help others achieve this state of wellbeing - inside and out. She says, ‘if we can learn how to trust our heart-felt judgment and take time to tune inwards, we can begin to observe what we are yearning for. We can start to make choices in life that align with our authentic self and begin to live in a sense of harmony not only with others but also with ourselves.’

Hannah is light-hearted, uplifting and engaging. She believes that yoga is a compliment to everything in life; that it challenges the ego, allows a sense of ownership of the body and mind and has something positive to offer everyone. She wants her students to make yoga their own experience and invites them to explore their limitations with an open mind.
