Winter Rituals for Self-Care

It’s time to fill your own cup.

Winter is a time for going within and connecting with slow, and healing energy. It’s the most yin time of the year. We can observe the quiet to be found in nature and tap into our own inner quiet. As we practice from home, we can come home to our own true self.

Join Taryn for a 2hr, online workshop exploring the art of  self-care and nurturing.

During this workshop you will:

  • Learn how to nourish your Yin energy though out Winter, through nutrition, meditation, yin yoga and introspective practices.

  • Learn nourishing techniques for giving YOURSELF a massage from home.

  • Experience a Restorative Yin practice for self healing.

  • Experience Yoga Nidra, a deeply healing meditation technique that is practiced lying down.

For this workshop you will need:

  • A quiet and warm room where you won't be disturbed.

  • A note pad/ journal + pen

  • Anything that brings you ease and connection to self - Crystals, Candles, Favorite blanket, Essential oils, Palo Santo etc.

  • Coconut oil/ Olive oil or any high quality oil you are comfortable using on your skin. 

  • A towel in case of any spills

  • As many Yin props as you can find. You can get creative here: Think about bringing a bolter ( could be a rolled up towel/blanket or just a pillow), 2 Blocks ( Books or Tupperware), a Yoga strap ( belt/ scarf/ long towel), a cosy blanket and something to cover your eyes.

  • A speaker * Optional* ( separate from your device you will be using to attend the workshop ) for connecting to Spotify, if you wish to follow a playlist created for the workshop.

  • An open heart and an open mind.

Expect to leave feeling like you had that holiday that you missed from the pandemic.

About Taryn:

Taryn is a gifted and experienced yoga teacher. You may not know that she is also a massage therapist and reiki master, which makes her extra knowledgeable as she presents this self-care workshop.
